Rally-O
Throughout the year, MADTA conducts a series of obedience, agility, rally and conformation classes for anyone interested in training his or her dog. MADTA classes
are open to all purebred and mixed  breeds four months of age or older. You do not have to become a club member to take advantage of our training classes. Our
intent is to help owners teach their dogs simple commands and good manners.
We use proven Positive Reinforcement training methods so that you and your dog consider our classes to be the best "game" yet! Dogs learn by doing "things" that
are to their advantage and avoid "things" that are NOT to their advantage. This philosophy is the building block to training a happy dog that wants to please YOU.

Advanced classes are available for individuals who wish to continue training or prepare for show competition. Our facilities also provide opportunities for practice
sessions and simulated dog show run-throughs.

The training staff is always available to help you with any questions or problems that you may be experiencing with your dog, be it behavioral, or training. The goals
of MADTA are to have every dog be a good canine citizen and a well-loved family member. Our head instructor is experienced and has met the criteria for national
certification (CPDT) by the association of  Pet Dog Trainers (
APDT), and endorsed by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors. (NADOI)  Our Agility
Instructor is certified and has many, many years of experience.

All dogs must be at least 3 months old and have
proof of current immunizations, including Parvo. Nominal fees are charged.   Facility is indoors and matted.
Our training building is located at:

Southeastern Livestock Pavilion,
"Blue Building"
2232 NE Jacksonville Rd.
Ocala, Florida

Confirmation
For the Show Dog.

Fly Ball
Flyball races match two teams of four dogs each, racing side-by-side over a 51 foot long course.
Each dog must run in relay fashion down the jumps, trigger a flyball box, releasing the ball, retrieve the ball, and return over the jumps.
The next dog is released to run the course but can't cross the start/finish line until the previous dog has returned over all 4 jumps and reached the start/finish line.
The first team to have all 4 dogs finish the course without error wins the heat.
